The GRI is available to REALTORS who complete all nine REALTOR Institute courses (90 hours) within five years. Transfer credit may be granted for previous course work and you may test out of up to two courses.

    RI405 - Construction & Environmental Issues - Helping Your Clients Achieve Their Goals
    Position yourself to help your clients get the home of their dreams. This course provides an in-depth understanding of the physical structure and systems in a home, in addition to energy efficiency and energy rating systems. Land use, zoning and restrictions on property use are covered as they relate to salability. Home inspections, warranties and environmental issues affecting homes are discussed as part of your managing a successful transaction.

    RI406 - Price it Right - Understanding The Appraisal Process
    Get to know the role and responsibilities of the appraiser in order to foster a smooth real estate transaction and offer your clients a high level of professionalism. This course will familiarize you with appraisal principles, how appraisers must operate (USPAP standards), what their responsibilities are, and to whom. Economic factors and the three standard approaches to value are discussed in detail. You'll also analyze data to develop and present an effective CMA.
